I bought this immediately once I saw the sale price. I love djay on my MacBook, but I didn't want to spend $5 on the iPhone version, so I kept holding out for a sale. Thanks to Algoriddim.

Where did you buy it? I hope it wasn't craigslist. If it was eBay I would print out the listing information just encase if it turns out there's nothing in it. You could then open a case on eBay and demand your money back.

What does Spymac offer, exactly?
Okay, nevermind. I know now, but I really don't know much about Spymac in general. Is it free? I couldn't find a price for it.
And if its free/cheap, what's the catch? How could they offer so much?

Have you checked your MIME types on your server? I had the same issue w/ a clients server. It would just display the text URL.

Ok my mom just got a cable modem today. I have dsl at my house so I'm not sure if i'm doing everything right. The problem is, the airport is not getting an ip address from the modem. I just un-pluged everything for 8min and still nothing(This is applecare said to do.) The modem works fine when hooked up to a computer direct. Anyone have any hints at all. This is really getting to me. Shes running 10.2.6 and all the newest versions of airport/basestation etc.

Gentle nudge + some more info.
After playing around a bit, I discovered the files are named, "MuteOnButton" and "MuteOffButton".
Still in the same folder:
"/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app"
If anyone's able to snag these files for me from their iPad, it'd be greatly appreciated. :)

These were out quite awhile ago since he needed them to get approval to demolish a "historical home". They're aren't crazy detailed and I've heard they may be faked but it seems very utilitarian just like most apple products.

Hmmm, seems I may have read it wrong, I mistook "partition" as meaning another partition on your main HDD/SSD and glanced over the "external" and "internal" points. Yeah, been a long day, and being blond ain't helping lol

Shouldn't take too long to port over to redsn0w. Does anyone remember how long it was last time? For 4.3.2? I think it was like 7-10 days
The only person with the source is I0n1c and he was out of the country last update so it took him some time to compile new binaries for the release (if needed).
This could also be why it's not patched yet - with no access to the source it's harder for Apple to reverse engineer the exploit and discover what they are doing. With a need to get the update out so fast they probably didn't bother. I expect it to be in the next patch though.....

Recently I've been having major problems with my Airport (PowerBook G4) -- a lot of stalls and stops when opening even the most basic webpages, can't download new software (although I did manage to download the latest airport update) -- it's almost as if I'm on dial-up. It's always run a bit slow, but lately it's just been unacceptable. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with my provider. Does anyone here have any idea why this is happening?
Dunno what OS you have, but I will assume up-to-date on everything. Click airport signal thingy on top right, and click "use interference robustness" or whatever it's called. Then try.
Or....run the airport setup assistant and make sure it doesn't prompt you for any airport firmware upgrades. If so, do them.
And, hmm, any new 2.4ghz phones in the house? Could cause interference.
Also, make sure you're getting a good direct connection from modem to computer. If that's slow, airport will be even slower. Yum.

I need an app that will continue the words for me, that is all. Just like when you press the esc key on TextEdit or Pages, but I don't want to press esc all the time.

Just wondering if anyone has seen or owns an iPhone 4 replacement back that happens to have a kickstand?
I know there are plenty of cases out there that have kickstands, but I think a replacement back with one would be pretty cool.
And if not, can anyone recommend a nice thin clear case with kickstand? Thanks!

What about erasing a drive? Do the security options "wear and tear" more than erasing the directory information?
I've always wondered about this. I know it's not like "Oh god, don't use secure erase other wise your disk will blow up ... etc"
